Insolence Productions contributes to the perpetuation of independent cinema.
Born from a desire to bring unseen stories to the screen, Insolence Productions champions independent, genre, and regional cinema.
Taking risks is in our DNA: Insolence Productions is all about calculated gambles and intuition. We are committed to fostering the emerging talents of tomorrow's cinema, whether they are artists or technicians, and wherever they come from: content creators, visual artists, comic book authors, etc., because Insolence primarily promotes inclusive cinema.
This insatiable curiosity is matched by a fierce commitment to developing both projects and people. We support our creators over the long term, helping them grow. Our guidance covers both editorial and artistic aspects. We also pay close attention to their career development through thoughtful mentorship.
Our films are bold, incisive, and unapologetically free-spirited. In a word: insolent.

Anaïs Bertand
FOUNDER, PRODUCER
As a child, she was enamored with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dracula, and Fantasia. As an adult, Anaïs Bertrand founded Insolence Productions with the desire to bring stories "that she misses" to the screen and to discover auteur.ice.s like finding gold or pearls. Her passion for gems is accompanied by a pronounced taste for fashion. She named Insolence in homage to her childhood report cards. Today, she uses her gift of gab to defend the general interest within the Syndicate of Independent Production.

Emilie Dubois
PARTNER, PRODUCER AND DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
A graduate of Louis Lumière and the Atelier Scénario de la Fémis, Emilie Dubois joins Insolence productions in 2021, after having produced several short films that have successfully circulated internationally. These include a shortlist entry at the Oscars, a selection at the Magritte and César awards, and several selections in official competition at Cannes. She supports authors by offering her skills as a scriptwriter. Apart from cinema, she has a taste for good food and hard-hitting music, unless it's the other way round.

Anita Trigon
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
With a spark of mischief and no time for hesitation, Anita approached Anaïs via Instagram. The audacity paid off, as she joined Insolence Productions in 2025 as an intern, before being hired. A great photography enthusiast, she brings her energy to Insolence's projects and brings to them the perspective of an informed generation.
