We met Rodrigue through his first short film "Transylvanie," which was a real favorite for us. Since then, we have been discussing a feature film project. At the same time, Rodrigue mentioned "Réel" to us. This very short film was perfectly in line with our taste for genre films with a simple but remarkably effective concept, unreservedly embracing the entertainment aspect, while holding up a distorting mirror to our society. We are co-producing the film alongside Rodrigue and his association, Triggers Productions. Since its release last year at Neuchâtel, the film has had a successful run, already crowned with a Silver Méliès at Ramaskrik.
