Alcibiade Cohen’s first short film is selected at the 36th European Short Film Festival in Brest, which will take place from November 9 to 14, as well as at the 39th Tous Courts Festival in Aix-en-Provence, which will take place from November 30 to December 4.
Shot in Argentina, just before the borders got closed due to Covid19, the film echoes the country’s latest social advances all the while showing real plastic beauty.
Synopsis: “Maria, an Argentinian young woman, participates in the qualifiers for the famous “Jesus Maria” rodeo festival, for the first time open to women. Finally, her dream is about to come true.”
